Development Council
Purpose and Mission:
- Encourage philanthropy among its members
- Build relationships with possible major donors
- Create a sense of community among donors
- Broaden understanding about the role and impact of philanthropy
- Celebrate the impact of gifts on the lives of Liberal Arts students and faculty
Silver Membership Level:
Requirements
- Pay annual contribution of between $1,000 - $2,499
- Assist with cultivation of new members
- Aspire to Heritage Society and/or Legacy Society membership at the Texas A&M Foundation
Benefits
- Provided with an academic experience at the Spring meeting on campus and at events year-round
- Recognized for new member recruitment
- Recognized as a Silver Level member in college materials and in other appropriate venues
Gold Membership Level:
Requirements
- Pay annual contribution of at least $2,500
- Participate on an Liberal Arts Development Council committee
- Serve in leadership capacity after tenure as gold level member established
- Assist with new member recruitment when appropriate
- Aspire to Heritage Society and/or Legacy Society membership at the Texas A&M Foundation
- Commit to make a $25,000 or more endowment gift to some area of the College of Liberal Arts
Benefits

- Interact with college leadership; receive updates on college priorities and issues
- Participate, as appropriate, on personnel selection committees
- Recognized as a Gold Level member in college materials and other appropriate venues
