Timothy R. '89 and Katherine E. '90 Terzis of Celina have established the Terzis Family Future Success Scholarship through the Texas A&M Foundation. The couple will fund the $50,000 scholarship through a five-year pledge. The scholarship will support one or more full-time, first generation majors in the College of Liberal Arts who participate in either study abroad, an internship, or faculty-directed research project.

The couple also requested that the need-based scholarship target Texas A&M liberal arts majors from Collin, Grayson, Kaufman or Ellis counties.

The "Aggie experience" spurred the couple's desire to give back to their university.

We believe in Texas A&M University, and this our small way of giving back to A&M and all that it has provided our family. The many college memories of being Aggies, sharing Aggie traditions and Aggie pride with our children, watching our children become Aggies, and the never-ending spirit of Aggieland are some of the reasons why we chose to give back to A&M and provide for a new generation of Aggies to become a part of the greatest network - the Aggie Network. We look forward to many more years of association with A&M and future endowments.

Tim Terzis majored in English and philosophy at Texas A&M University, graduating in 1990. Kathy Terzis also graduated from Texas A&M in 1990 with a major in elementary education. The couple own and operate several Sport Clips Haircut franchises in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. They live in Celina, north of Dallas, and have four children. The oldest, Auriel, is a freshman business major at Texas A&M and a proud member of the class of 2015. Their second daughter, Ashley, just received her admission letter and will become a member of the class of 2016, majoring in chemistry.

Both are active members in the Liberal Arts Development Council as well as silver level members of the Century Club in the Association of Former Students.
