We want to hear from you! The Department of Anthropology invites friends and former students to stay in touch. We have recently started to send out an electronic newsletter (three times a year) to keep you abreast of exciting developments in the department. And, we have started an online list of former graduate students. We have plans to start an online list of former undergraduate students and possibly to develop an alumni network. If you would like to be added to this list and/or involved in a Department of Anthropology Former Student Network, please send us information on what you are doing, and how the study of anthropology has impacted your life. We also encourage you to come back and visit us at Texas A&M University. We will be happy to see you again, and you’re welcome to attend the public lectures listed on the Calendar of Events.
Gifts to the Department of Anthropology
The Department of Anthropology benefits from the generosity of friends, alumni and patrons who share in our commitment to excellence in educating the next generation of anthropologists. Tax-deductible contributions to the “Department of Anthropology Excellence Fund” are used to support recurrent research-related expenses, including undergraduate research, graduate student research and conference travel, the department’s lecture series, faculty conference travel, and other things that contribute to the scholarly mission of the department. With your support, we will continue to transform the lives of our students. Each gift, no matter what its size, does make a difference!
