Bio
Angela Gore completed her BA in Anthropology at Texas A&M University in 2011. She is interested in Upper Paleolithic and Paleoindian archaeology focused on the peopling of Beringia and the Americas, specifically patterns of human dispersals, hunter-gatherer ecology, and human behavioral adaptation. Additionally, her research interests include lithic technology and paleoenvironmental reconstruction. She has worked on several CSFA excavations, including the Debra L. Friedkin site, TX, Owl Ridge, AK, and Dry Creek, AK, as well as recent excavations at Healy Lake, AK. She is currently analyzing the lithic assemblage from Owl Ridge in order to understand technological and behavioral adaptation in central Alaska.
