Elanor Sonderman received her B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Delaware in 2012 where she completed a funded research project assessing site seasonality from a collection of oyster (C. virginica) shells. While diet and land use patterns of prehistoric populations has remained a research interest, during her time at A&M, Elanor has transferred much of her focus to archaeological curation and collections management. Working both at A&M and UT Austin, she hopes to complete a dissertation that encompasses ethics, theory and case studies regarding research in and management of archaeological collections.
