Bio
I received my Bachelors in Anthropology from University de Montréal in the province of Quebec, Canada in 2011. I received my MA in Anthropology from the same university in 2016 with a thesis on French shipbuilding of the 18th century through the wreck of Machault (1757).
My current research involves a comparative study of the wrecks of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, France (1692) and the relationship between traditional knowledge and the standardization of shipbuilding practices.
My other interest includes scientific communication for the public and the development of underwater archaeology in Quebec through a non-profit I co-founded, the Institut de Recherche en Histoire Maritime et Archéologie Subaquatique.
