Bio
Megan Hagseth graduated from the University of Evansville in 2012 with a BA in archaeology, and graduated from Texas A&M in 2015 with a Masters of Arts through the Nautical Archaeology Program. She is currently pursuing her PhD with research focusing on sea turtle trade and consumption during the 17th and 18th centuries. Other research includes human-animal interactions in the maritime community, public archaeology, nautical archaeological survey methodologies, and site formation processes.
