Bio
Viviane Clement is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Cultural Anthropology Department. She received her BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Carleton College in Minnesota and her MPH in Epidemiology at Texas A&M University. Her research area is in water quality and governance, transnational migration and leveraging diaspora resources, health disparities as exasperated by environmental disasters, civil wars in modern Africa, and African feminist art of dissent.
