Thirty Liberal Arts faculty members to present at the President’s Excellence Fund Symposium

Thirty faculty members from the College of Liberal Arts will present posters explaining interdisciplinary projects funded by the first round of T3: Texas A&M Triads for Transformation program on Thursday, April 4, as part of the inaugural President’s Excellence Fund Symposium.

The T3 poster session will take place from noon-1:30 p.m. in Room 1011 B and C at the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Presidential Conference Center.

The T3 program is an initiative in the 10-year, $100 million President’s Excellence Fund, which will invest approximately $3 million annually in T3 projects. The program is open to all of Texas A&M’s tenured or tenure-track faculty members. To qualify for T3 funding, faculty members form a “triad” of three faculty members in support of a common project. At least two of the faculty members must come from different colleges or schools.

The President’s Excellence Fund Symposium begins at 10:30 a.m. with a welcome from A&M President Michael K. Young and a keynote speech from Cecelia Conrad, managing director of the John T. and Catherine D. MacArthur Foundation.
