CFP (Conference Panel): Pedagogy and Generative AI at DH2024 (Proposals due 02/16/24)

The Pedagogy and Training Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Association of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO) is seeking proposals for a guaranteed, in-person session on pedagogy and generative AI at DH2024. The 90-minute session will be part of the academic program and will feature a panel discussion of 4-6 presenters who will each speak briefly about how they have integrated generative AI into their teaching. The remainder of the session will be dedicated to discussion among the panelists and the session’s audience. Proposals are due by February 16, 2024. DH2024 is scheduled for August 6-9, 2024 in Washington D.C.

Applications are due by February 16, 2024.

To apply, please send the following to

    • Your name

    • Your institution

    • Approximately 200 words that describe how you have integrated generative AI into your teaching and/or that articulates an argument about generative AI in connection with digital humanities pedagogy and training

    • Optionally, if you think it will help in evaluating your proposal, include an assignment, lesson plan, or other activity that focuses on generative AI

To represent the diversity of approaches to DH, the Pedagogy and Training SIG welcomes proposals from around the world, especially from those for whom English is not a first language.
