Howdy, I’m Cassie Julian! I am class of 2024 and proud to be one of the members of the inaugural ABM cohort. I am interested in questions of socialization, conflict, culture shock, and how our relationships with ourselves and others form our sense of identity. As a former Marine Corps brat, I am particularly interested in studying the effects of a military kid lifestyle on adults, particularly during the transition into adulthood and independence.

I am also fascinated with true crime, particularly with the idea of ethical true crime reporting and entertainment. I’ve likely watched Netflix’s Fyre documentary at least a dozen times, and I’ve talked to my friends about it a hundred times more.
