Matthew has 15+ years experience in Cloud-based technologies and project management which has afforded him the opportunity to work for two global leaders in technology: Rackspace and Microsoft. After 11yrs at Rackspace focusing on Microsoft products and services, Matthew made the transition to Microsoft to further his education and experience. Matthew’s skills sets are centric on operational efficiencies, project and process management, procurement and enterprise negotiations. His current role at Microsoft as Principal Solution Specialist is focused on driving sustainable business change to increase customer profitability and efficiencies through Digital Transformation. Chartered to develop thought leadership within Enterprise organizations to help drive Azure(cloud)-based solutions while aligning compelling technology with business opportunities to provide a defined path for growth and success while bridging the gap between ‘Art of the Possible’ and Customer Driven outcomes.
Matthew graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication with a Minor in Public Relations from Texas A & M University. During Matthew’s tenure at A&M, he was a dedicated member of the Aggie Football Team (Offensive Line) under RC Slocum from ’97-’00, then spent his last two years of athletic eligibility as a member of the Texas A&M Rugby Club where he was selected as the first BIG XII Collegiate Rugby All-American.
