Bio

Howdy all! My name is Nathaniel Carr. I am a recent Texas A&M University graduate who obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications of Media Studies with a double minor in Game Design and Development as well as Spanish. Starting in the fall of 2022, I will be a Master of Communication scholar who is interested in the prospective intersection and correlations to be drawn between technology dependency and adolescent/pre-pubescents development. Another area of interest to study would be that of the long-term effects growing up with such innovations as “the third screen” has on individuals long-term.

Outside of school, I work as a graphic designer for an energy company who specializes in compliance and safety training. In this role, I work to push safety training further along in it’s potential for immersion with the use of new, budding tools relating to virtual reality.

I am the pet parent to a kitten named Sylvie and numerous freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
