Bio

My name is Sarah Ottinger, and I graduated from Abilene Christian University in May with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication. I’m from Nashville and have grown up there most of my life. When I moved to Texas for college, I was pretty much sold and want to live here for a few more years! 

As far as research interests, I am interested in how the media influences children’s identities and the role of digital media in our society. More recently, I’ve become interested in the public memory of religious persecution (the Anabaptists) and the way we tell these stories (Burke) that have affected our perception of church history.
