Bio

Sydnie Harrell is enrolled in the Master of Arts in Communication degree program. Her research interests lie in the disciplines of communications and media science; media, culture, and identity; and journalism and media practices.

In May 2023, Harrell graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Communication, a minor in Agricultural Communications & Journalism, and a certificate in Communication, Diversity, and Social Justice. As an undergraduate student, Harrell acted as the President of Her Campus at TAMU and was an active member of Lambda Pi Eta. Harrell is currently a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective honor society for all academic disciplines. She is also a graduate teaching assistant in the Texas A&M University Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications and the student writer for the Texas A&M University Office of Undergraduate Studies.
