Bio

Wenxue Zou is a fourth year PhD student who majors in health communication. Her office is located at Bolton Hall 204. In hopes of being a scholar who will produce socially useful results in the future, she wants to examine, critique, and probe issues of social discrimination and identity crisis arising from inequity and information asymmetry. She is now focusing on public health crises, women’s health issues, and health-related stigma using mixed methods. Before pursuing a doctoral degree at Texas A&M University, Wenxue earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Wuhan University, China.
