Texas A&M Economics Alumni Retires after a 30+ Year Career in the USAF

The Texas A&M Department of Economics would like to congratulate one of its alumni, COL David Scanlon  – A&M Economics Class of ’91, on his retirement from the United States Air Force after a distinguished 30+ year career.

COL Scanlon met his wife Alicia in Aggieland and they have spent those 30 years living and serving in a variety of locations to include Hawaii, Germany, The United Kingdom and multiple locations across the continental US. He is a highly experienced intelligence professional who has served in a variety of positions from the tactical to strategic level and held numerous leadership positions in the intelligence community. He will finish his career as the Battle Watch Commander for the US Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.
