Degree objective:
I am currently pursuing my Master’s of Science in Economics with the hope of going into consulting post-graduation.

University highlights, awards, scholarships:
Throughout my time at Texas A&M, I have been the recipient of the Excellence in Academics & Leadership Award, Plum Scholarship Fund and the Tyrus R Timm Scholarship through the department of Agricultural Economics (2023). I have also achieved the Dean’s Honor Roll twice during my undergrad, as well as receiving numerous scholarships through the Chickasaw Nation Higher Education organization, which I am also a part of.
Clubs/Organizations I am (was) a part of:
During my undergraduate studies, I was the President of Aggie Blossoms, an amazing women’s organization on campus! Prior to holding that position, I served as Public Relations Director and was a general member of NAISO, Aggie Investment Club, and Her Campus. Currently, I am a member of Women in Economics (WIE), and serve as a student representative for the department of Economics in the College of ArtSci’s Graduate Student Working Group.
Current employment:
Currently, I am a student worker for the M.S. Economics program as the Marketing and Social Media student assistant. I also recently accepted an offer at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) as a Transfer Pricing Intern this coming summer in Houston, TX.
Family ties to Texas A&M:
None! I am the first Aggie in my family, but growing up here made me want to attend Texas A&M because the community feels home for me.
I chose to attend Texas A&M because…
It felt like home! I toured other colleges in the later years of high school, but nothing felt quite as right as TAMU, it was a no-brainer in terms of college decisions.
My favorite things to do on campus are…
I love to ride VEOs around campus, to class or just for fun! It’s a great way to enjoy being outside between study sessions, work, and class. I also just enjoy getting to be around so many awesome classmates while I am on campus!
When I have free time, I like…
To paint, bake, and spend time with my dog.
The craziest thing I’ve done is…
Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane! After receiving my Aggie ring, my dad and I went skydiving together.
My favorite place to study is…
Grad Study Area in LASB, the Grad Lounge in Evans, or in the Gardens on West Campus!
My favorite ECON professor is…
Dr. Schulman- he is so sweet and caring and I loved how he brought his personal experiences and real examples into what he was teaching us throughout the semester! SAS is cool!
My favorite part of being an Economics student is…
Learning so many life-applicable skills. Not every field of study is so versatile and that’s one of my favorite things about studying Economics!
If I could share an afternoon with anyone, I would love to share it with…
Toto Wolff. He is the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team principal, so hopefully I could learn from his leadership abilities and also get to ride in some pretty cool cars.
If I knew I could not fail, I would…
Start my own business, probably a creative studio or museum!
If money was not a consideration, I would love to…
Travel the world! I love to travel and if the budget was non-existent I would very much enjoy to make a tour around the globe.
What is your passion and how are you committed to pursuing it?
My passion is making people smile- I love the moment when I am truly able to bring someone I care about, or even a stranger, a moment of joy. When I paint things, when I bake my friend a cake, when I get to be at ECON events capturing photos of my peers making memories! It is my goal to keep being a force of good in a world that sometimes forgets about the value of a real smile. (:
After graduation, I plan to…
Work full time and start building a family.
The one Texas A&M experience I will always remember is…
Getting my Aggie ring! Even though I broke tradition by having my dad (not an Aggie) give me my ring, it was such a special moment, and I loved getting to share it with him. I owe all my opportunities in life to my amazing parents who have worked so hard to help me chase any dream that I come up with!
