Bio

Sara Y. Chung’s research interests include nineteenth-century novels, the Gothic, humanist philosophy, and race studies. Her dissertation project examines possibilities of re-conceiving human ontology in fiction through theoretical engagements with critical race studies and lenses of the body and flesh, affect, and ghostliness.
