PURPOSE | To facilitate the dissemination of original humanities and humanistic social science research by Texas A&M faculty to a global audience through translation of published work. |

OPEN TO | Full-time tenured/tenure-track faculty in the following Colleges who have been in their full-time position for a minimum of three years: Arts & Sciences; Architecture; Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts |
In partnership with the Colleges of Arts & Sciences, Architecture, and Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts, the Glasscock Center is pleased to announce the Glasscock Global Publication Translation Grants.
ABOUT:
The grants are designed to facilitate the dissemination of outstanding humanities and humanistic social science research by Texas A&M faculty to a linguistically diverse global audience.
The awards provide up to $10,000 towards the receiptable costs for translating and publishing an outstanding existing book of original research by an eligible Texas A&M faculty member in a language other than English.

ELIGIBILITY:
Eligible works must be books either authored, co-authored, edited, or co-edited by a full-time Texas A&M tenured/tenure-track faculty member who has been in a full-time faculty position at Texas A&M for at least three years in the participating colleges of Arts & Sciences, Architecture, and Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts .
The book must already have been published in English, and it must be original research that falls within the humanities or humanistic social sciences.
Priority will be for single and co-authored books. Applicants should already be in contact with a press that has expressed interest in publishing a translation.
SELECTION:
A multi-disciplinary selection committee of Texas A&M tenured faculty will be convened by the Director of the Glasscock Center, who will serve as a nonvoting chair. Selection committee members will consist of faculty from the humanities and humanistic social sciences, broadly conceived.
