Publication Support Grant

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Applicants are normally notified of award decisions by one month following the application submission.

ABOUT:

Grants of up to $1,000 each are available to support the costs of publishing a manuscript (monography, edited book, or journal article) of original humanities scholarship. This grant is intended to cover costs for substantive enhancements to the manuscript which are essential for publication. Eligible enhancements include costs associated with producing graphics and figures, maps, tables and diagrams, and copyright permissions. All manuscripts must be accepted for publication or in press when the request is submitted. This grant is not available retroactively for works that have already been printed.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT:

Publications receiving support must acknowledge “The Melbern G. Glasscock Center for Humanities Research.”

ELIGIBILITY:

All faculty and graduate students at Texas A&M University whose work is in the humanities in alignment with the Glasscock Center mission.

Letter or electronic correspondence from the press, editing service, or other appropriate service indicating the anticipated costs for which funding is sought

Upon form submission, you should be redirected to a confirmation screen and receive an automatic confirmation email.
