Student Application for URTH

Submit your application by September 4, 2024.


Notifications of acceptance will be sent no later than Wednesday September 18, 2024.

Critera

  • Sophomore or Junior Standing 
  • Good Academic Standing (ie: Not on Academic Probation)
  • Interest in pursuing an individualized high-impact research project in the humanities, such as through the LAUNCH thesis program or departmental honors.

Expectations

  • Attend 6 Workshops over the course of the fall and spring semesters of academic year 2024–25, held on Mondays between 12:30 and 2:30pm
  • Attend 4 Meetings; one open and close each semester 
  • Attend, as able, the Undergraduate Humanities Research Symposium (spring 2025), Fallon-Marshall Lecture (spring 2025), and Susanne M. Glasscock Book Prize (TBD)
  • Engage in the cohorts’ Canvas Community
