Application for Summer Residency at the National Humanities Center
In partnership with the Colleges of Arts & Sciences, Architecture, and Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts, and the Bush School of Government & Public Service, the Melbern G. Glasscock Center for Humanities Research is pleased to issue a call for applications for a Summer Residential Scholar at the National Humanities Center (NHC).
Scholars from sponsoring institutions participate in a four-week (*dates TBD*) summer residency program intended to assist in jump-starting or making substantial progress on a current project. Program benefits include housing and shuttle service, meals, a private study, and library and administrative support. The Texas A&M scholar will also receive a $500 bursary to help cover travel expenses to and from the NHC.

Eligibility: Full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty in the following Colleges working on a humanities-based research project: Arts & Sciences; Architecture; Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts; Bush School of Government & Public Service.
Deadline: 2025 deadline forthcoming -- typically January. Award notification can typically be expected in February. (Timelines are determined by the National Humanities Center.)

Upon form submission, you should be redirected to a confirmation screen and receive an automatic confirmation email. If you do not receive either of these, there may have been a problem with your form and you will need to resubmit.

Applications will be considered incomplete until all information has been received, at which time an e-mail confirming receipt will be sent to you.
Applicants are normally notified of award decisions by one month following the application deadline.
