Adriana Perez-Smith received her B.A. from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, Caracas, Venezuela, and an M.A. in Spanish from the University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY in 2012. She holds an LL.M in International and Comparative Law from SMU, Dallas, TX as well. She is an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Hispanic Studies, teaching undergraduate courses such as first year Spanish, Composition and Conversation, Advanced Grammar for Heritage Speakers, and Advanced Translation. She is also a member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and of the Houston Interpreters and Translators Association (HITA).
