Research Interests

Kendall Cosley is a Ph.D. student in American Military History. Her research interests lie in World War II identity formation of enlisted soldiers. In particular, her project will explore how through a variety of media, ranging from reports of operations to individual stories to cartoons, combat correspondents helped to create the image of the common G.I. soldier in both the public and the military mind.
