Research Interests
Margaret Gregory is a second-year graduate student working with Dr. Jason Parker. She graduated Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Clemson University in 2020 with her B.A. in History. Her research interests include studying the connections between the Cold War and the Civil Rights Movement, US in the World, and 20th century American Social History. Her current research project analyzes transnational connections of the Massive Resistance movement through conservative media.
In addition to her research Margaret is involved in the planning and coordinating of various professional conferences. Her current roles include the Graduate Assistant for the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations (SHAFR) 2023 Annual Conference as well as the Committee Chair for the 13th Annual History Graduate Student Organization of Texas A&M Conference. In the past she was the Graduate Assistant for The Second Wave: Revolutionary Women of Color Conference held in March of 2022. She serves as the Social Officer on the 2022-2023 History Graduate Student Organization Board.
