The Department of Global Languages and Cultures brings together faculty with research and teaching expertise in linguistic, cultural, literary, language and media studies. The department is dedicated to fostering cultural understanding and global engagement through the discovery, dissemination and translation of knowledge. Global Languages and Cultures offer BA degrees in Global Studies, Modern Languages (French, German, Russian), Spanish, and Classics and graduate degrees in Hispanic Studies.
