The College of Liberal Arts values diversity and is dedicated to building a welcoming and inclusive environment for faculty, staff, and students. In an effort to recognize staff members who regularly engage in the types of service activities designed to encourage and facilitate a more inclusive and welcoming climate for all, particularly for people from underrepresented populations, the Achievements in Climate and Inclusion Staff Award was created.
Today we are honored to announce that Daniella Stratta, an academic advisor in the Department of International Studies, is being recognized for doing the everyday, hands-on, and advocacy work that is often overlooked, to assist individuals from underrepresented and marginalized populations through their academic career. Through mentoring and encouraging students, Daniella has truly created a supportive and inviting atmosphere in the Department of International Studies.
