For student access to card-swipe locks in the department, the PERF faculty member sponsoring the project should send the following information to full names; UINs; rooms requested; dates of access; any special limitations on access hours (if needed); and the academic, professional (non-commercial), or Texas state business reason for the access. Rooms with sensitive equipment may require additional approval by the faculty or staff responsible for that area and may require an orientation session before independent access is granted.
