Congratulations to Dr. Claire Katz for being elected to the Board of Directors of the National Humanities Alliance. Dr. Katz was elected to a two year term and joins the oversight of the business affairs and a major policy influence of the NHA.
The NHA is a nationwide coalition of organizations advocating for the humanities, the only such organization in the United States that brings together the humanities as a whole. Founded in 1981, it is supported by over 200 member organizations and is based on Capitol Hill. It works to research and communicate the value of humanities to a wide group of audiences including the general public and elected officials.
