Bio
Kenny Easwaran works on several topics relating to epistemology and decision theory, and the role of probability in helping to understand these and related concepts. He has particular interest in puzzles involving the role of zero and infinity in probability and decision theory, but also thinks about the role of probability in justifying belief and knowledge. He is also interested in the role of non-deductive reasoning in mathematics. He got his PhD from UC Berkeley in 2008, in the Group in Logic and the Methodology of Science, and spent a year at the Australian National University as a postdoc, followed by six years at the University of Southern California, before moving to Texas A&M University.
