The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences offers field internship experiences for students who register for PSYC 484 (this counts toward a BC Neuroscience major). The foundation of the internship is work completed in an approved setting that focuses on behavioral and cognitive neuroscience. These field experiences are supervised by a professor with expertise in the field setting. This is an opportunity to engage with a specialized field of study and gain experiences in a professional setting while under the supervision of one of our faculty members. The course requirements vary with the setting, the supervising professor and the needs of the individual student. It can be possible to intern with a current or future employer, or to work with the advising office to find an internship opportunity. These experiences require the approval of the instructor.

Participation in these experiences requires that you and the instructor complete a contract that details the expectations for working on the project. These forms are below.
