Asian American Communities in Transformation: Changing Demographics and Racial Politics

Dr Janell WongThe Race and Ethnic Studies Institute (RESI), invites you to attend our upcoming colloquia on Tuesday, April 19th at 12 PM CDT. Dr. Janelle Wong, professor in the Asian American Studies Program at the University of Maryland, will reflect on the historical origins of the AAPI population. 

Dr. Wong, will discuss Asian American public opinion specifically related to #StopAAPIHate, affirmative action, and other political and social issues. Her talk will center on how attention to Asian Americans reveals new insights about community formation across the broader U.S. racial landscape.
