Biography
Ami is an international educator and DEI professional working on their PhD in Higher Education Administration – Student Affairs. They are originally from Puerto Rico and hold a BA in English from the University of Connecticut and an MA.Ed. in Higher Education Student Affairs from The George Washington University.
Ami has 8 years of experience in international education with a focus in global DEI. Their research centers around globalizing DEI to support historically marginalized students. Ami holds awards in DEI and student support, and commits to continuous learning to ensure and create access, retention, and support for marginalized students.
