Biography

Lauren Guerra Arci

is a Junior and first year graduate student from Katy, Texas however she is originally from Morón, Ciego de Ávila, Cuba. She is the loudest and the proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie class of 2023, whoop, where she will earn her Bachelors of Science degree in Economics and  Masters of Science degree in Financial Management with a concentration in Commercial Banking. She will be interned at Cadence Bank in Houston, Texas during the summer of 2021. While on campus, Lauren works at the Texas A&M Race and Ethnic Studies Institute (RESI), where Guerra Arci hopes to create a space that contributes to the inclusivity of her favorite campus and promote a home for all Aggies. In addition, she plans to provide an opportunity for growth in every person from the university, so that together TAMU can be progressive in a direction of respect, compassion and acceptance. Guerra Arci believes Texas A&M University is an institution worthy of an everlasting legacy. There’s a spirit that can ne’er be told here, and the Spirit of Aggieland deserves to be embodied in every kind of person.
