Bio
Imge Dogan is a doctoral student studying how family dynamics influence problem behavior while highlighting the different living arrangements of youth and the roles that family structure, particularly single-parent households, have on adolescent risk factors (i.e., low self-control, negative self-feelings) for youth problem behavior. She previously earned her MA degree in sociology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her former work examined the adjustment of members of mixed-document-status families to the loss of their homeland and the challenges they faced due to immigration status.
