The Texas Research Data Center (TXRDC) hosted the 2016 Federal Statistical Research Data Center (FSRDC) Annual Business Meeting for the Federal Statistical FSRDCs (formerly the Census RDC Network) at Texas A&M University from September 14, 2016.

The all-day business meeting brought together leadership from the U.S. Census Bureau’s Center for Economic Studies, FSRDC administrators and FSRDC directors from each of two-dozen FSRDCs around the country, other government statistical agency officials, and several representatives of potential new FSRDC locations. This group of over 60 senior leaders and administrators from Census and 30 leading research universities around the country discussed issues related to establishing and/or refining policies for the functioning of the RDC national network and planning for its continued growth and incorporation of new sites in coming years.
