CES Dissertation Mentorship Program

The Center for Economic Studies (CES) wants to assist doctoral candidates who are actively engaged in dissertation research in economics, sociology, demography, or related fields using Census Bureau microdata at a Research Data Center.

Fellowship recipients will receive mentorship and will have the opportunity to visit the Census Bureau to present their research in progress. Since the program was launched in 2008, it has mentored 56 graduate students from 28 different universities.
