Upcoming Proposal Development and Proposal Writing Workshops

We have two upcoming workshops ideal for researchers interested in developing their own TXRDC project proposals:

  1. The next online Proposal Development Workshop is scheduled for Thursday, May 19th at 10:00 a.m. central time. The goal of the workshop is to give researchers an overview of: (1) the restricted data resources available for RDC-based research, (2) programs and services available at the TXRDC, and (3) the steps involved in gaining approval for projects using restricted data.
  1. Two in-person Proposal Writing Workshop sessions are scheduled for Friday, May 20th. Researchers can attend either the 11:00 a.m. OR 1:30:00 p.m. session; both will be held in 326 conference room of the Teague building. This workshop will give researchers high-level, hands-on assistance on how to begin writing a proposal.

Researchers can attend the in-person session as long as they have ever been to a TXRDC information session, even if they do not attend the May 19th Zoom session. Lunch will be provided between the two sessions of the Writing Workshop. If you are staying for lunch, please indicate your food preference when you register for the session.

Click here to visit the event page to register and receive additional information about the workshops.

Both events are open to interested researchers from all colleges and disciplines, so please feel free to extend this invitation to colleagues and graduate students you believe may be interested. We hope to see you there!
