2025 Federal Statistical Research Data Center Annual Research Conference at Cornell University

Deadline for submissions is Monday, June 23, 2025.

We anticipate sending notices of acceptance by Monday, July 7, 2025.

You are invited to submit papers to the 2025 Federal Statistical Research Data Center (FSRDC) Annual Research Conference taking place on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. The conference will be a day of concurrent paper sessions and a keynote presentation.

All papers based on current or recent research leveraging the restricted-use confidential data that the Census Bureau and its partner agencies make available through the FSRDC network are welcome. We welcome research topics in the fields of economics, sociology, business and management, demography, health, and developments in data sets. Papers should involve statistical analyses on nonpublic versions of data sets available from the U.S. Census Bureau, the National Center for Health Statistics, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the FRB Microeconomic Surveys Unit.

Please submit your paper or an abstract of up to 500 words describing your research question, the data used (including sponsoring agency), methodology, and summary of results. Results can be anticipated or preliminary if they are not yet finalized. As a reminder, results need to have undergone disclosure avoidance review and must be approved for release. The abstract should include a presentation title and a list of all authors and their affiliations. Also, please provide an email address for the contact author.
