Texas A&M University boasts a history department whose graduate program ranked among the top one hundred in the nation, but Dr. David Chapman ‘67 wants to make it even more reputable.
“I want the history graduate program to be rated among the best in the country, but that takes time and money,” Chapman said.
That’s why Chapman chose to provide additional funds to his previously established Dr. David L. Chapman ‘67 Graduate Fellowship, so the College of Liberal Arts can attract the nation’s very best graduate students.
“In today’s world of low interest on funds it takes larger amounts to provide enough to do what I want to accomplish,” Chapman said.
