This is a force directed graph showing the diversity of our research interests. Larger blue circles represent departments within the College and maroon circles represent each research interest. Lines connect the department nodes with research nodes to show at least one person with that department is interested in that topic. The bubble graph to the right was generated by Dr. Timothy Duguid and represents all faculty research interests listed on departmental webpages in 2014. It is color coded by department and each bubble’s size relates to its prevalence within that department. Similar bubbles are grouped together in the graph. So, “Gender Studies” appears in the center of the graph, as it is one of the most prevalent topics researched within the entire college.
