There are numerous Research Data Centers around the country. Most are linked through a network that is coordinated by the Center for Enterprise Dissemination (CED) at the Census Bureau in Suitland, Maryland. The NCHS RDC and AHRQ RDC are a bit different. However, the key thing is that all RDCs provide access to the same data sets. So, for example, Census, NCHS, and AHRQ data sets can be accessed from any RDC in the CES organized network.
