Berlin Fall Field Trip
The Berlin Field Trip is a week-long academic enrichment program, during which students visit a variety of historical and cultural sites in and around Berlin, Germany. Through this high-impact experience, students gain an understanding of Germany’s complex historical past, cultural contributions, and important political and economic position in Europe and the world.
Students will depart from Houston November 12th, arriving in Berlin the following day, and will depart Berlin November 20th. On previous field trips, some of the places students visited were the Deutsches Historisches Museum, the German Bundestag plenary chamber, the Stasi Museum, the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, and Schloss Sanssouci in Potsdam.
Students will be registered in INTS 285-520 and can apply through Education Abroad portal. Students must confirm their participation by September 1st, 2022.
Program fee: $2500 (estimated; any unused funds will be credited back to students), and includes:

- Roundtrip airfare from Houston (IAH) to Berlin
- Hotel w/ breakfast daily
- Public transportation pass for Berlin
- All group activities and excursions
- Some evening meals
- Health insurance (during trip)
- Education Abroad fee
