Faculty Affiliates Works-In-Progress Workshop

Overview of the WIP Workshop

The Works-In-Progress Workshop aims to cultivate a collaborative space for RESI Faculty Affiliates. During this 1-day in-person workshop, selected assistant professors receive constructive feedback from a variety of sources (particularly affiliated faculty).

Projects submitted may cover a wide range of research methodologies, including critical-interpretive, historical, qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods, policy analysis and evaluation, and transition of research into practice. Manuscripts must include race and/or ethnic studies as a central focus.  Faculty will be notified if their in-progress manuscript is accepted into the workshop within a week after the application deadline.

Dates to Keep in Mind

  • The deadline to submit applications for consideration is March 20 by 5pm.
  • Faculty are notified of submission status by March 24.
