Submissions Open: 25th Annual Susanne M. Glasscock Book Prize
The Melbern G. Glasscock Center for Humanities Research is accepting submissions for the Twenty-Fifth Susanne M. Glasscock Humanities Book Prize for outstanding Interdisciplinary Scholarship.
The prize of $10,000 will be awarded to a single-authored book that demonstrates cross-disciplinary humanities appeal and engages academic and nonacademic audiences alike. The selection committee consists of members of Texas A&M University’s faculty and external scholars. The Glasscock Center expects to announce shortlisted books in late summer and the winner in the fall.
Submission Guidelines
- Nominations must come from the book’s publisher. A publisher may nominate no more than two books.
- Nominated books must be single-authored, published in English, and bear a printed copyright date of 2023.
- Submissions of electronic publications will not be accepted.
- To receive consideration, publishers should send four (4) copies of the nominated book so as to arrive at the address below by February 29, 2024. Books will not be returned.
- Employees of Texas A&M University are not eligible for nomination.
