Graduate Student Affiliates Works-In-Progress Workshop
Overview of the WIP Workshop
The Works-In-Progress Workshop aims to cultivate a collaborative space for RESI Graduate Student Affiliates. During this 1-day in-person workshop, selected students present their works in progress and receive constructive feedback from a variety of sources (affiliated faculty, graduate students, and the greater Texas A&M community). To continue the advancement of manuscripts, this workshop is then followed by a tailored Writing Studio session with the A&M University Writing Center.
Projects submitted may cover a wide range of research methodologies, including qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods, policy analysis and evaluation, and transition of research into practice. Manuscripts must include race and/or ethnicity as a central focus. Students will be notified if their in-progress manuscript is accepted into the workshop approximately one week after the application deadline.
Dates to Keep in Mind
- The deadline to submit applications for consideration is February 10.
- Full work-in-progress manuscript to be submitted by March 3.
