Biography

Hyeyeon Song is a PhD student in the Department of English at Texas A&M University. She received her BA from Ajou University and her MA from Korea University, both in English. Her studies primarily focus on American Literature and the historical context of the intersection of race and gender in American History. Currently, her research interests include contemporary American literature, particularly Black speculative fiction, African diaspora literature, and gender studies.
