On September 1, 2020, our scholars presented their thesis proposals under the central theme: The Humanities at a Time of Crisis: Undergraduate research engaging timely debates related to cultural and environmental changes. The scholars will be writing their theses during the remainder of the 2020-21 academic year.
The Summer Scholars Program is supported by the Glasscock Center for Humanities Research, the University Writing Center, and LAUNCH Undergraduate Research.

The objective of the Summer Scholars program is to expand undergraduate research in the humanities by providing an intensive summer research experience in which students are introduced to important research questions, trained in methods of research and analysis, and guided in the development of critical thinking, independent learning, and communications skills.
