Biography
Alondra Ceballos is currently a doctoral student in the Department of English at Texas A&M University. She has taught emergent bilingual students along the US-Mexico border for two years, while completing her MA at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. In her time at Texas A&M, she has been awarded fellowships from the Library of Congress, the World Shakespeare Bibliography and the Borderlands Shakespeare Collectiva. Her research centers on the musical poetry of the borderlands and the relationship Black and Latina girls have with the stars.
